How is MPG calculated?

Fuel Log calculates MPG from full tank to full tank: the miles driven since your last full fill-up, divided by the fuel added to fill the tank again. If you don’t fill all the way, mark the fill-up as partial. Its fuel is carried into the next full-tank calculation, so your MPG stays accurate.

How do I scan a receipt or odometer?

When adding a fill-up, tap the scan option and point the camera at your fuel receipt or odometer. The App reads the numbers on your device and fills them in for you to check before saving. The photo itself is not stored. Every user gets 3 free scans. You can always type values in by hand.

How do I switch units?

Open Settings in the App and choose the units you use, such as miles or kilometers and gallons or liters.

How do I export my data?

Open Settings in the App and choose Export CSV. You can save the file or share it to another app, such as a spreadsheet.

How do I restore my purchase?

Go to Settings in the App and tap Restore Purchases, or tap Restore on the paywall screen. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy.

How do I cancel a subscription?

On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name (Apple ID), then tap Subscriptions. Choose Fuel Log and tap Cancel Subscription. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
