This Privacy Policy describes how Fuel Log: MPG & Receipt Scan (the “App”) handles information. Your fuel data stays on your device. Photos are processed on your device and are not stored.

Information the App uses

Depending on how you use the App, it may process:

Camera photos of your vehicle odometer and fuel receipts, used only on your device to read the numbers and not saved
On-device text recognition using Apple frameworks (such as Vision / OCR) to read numbers and text from those photos
Fill-up records you enter or confirm, such as odometer readings, fuel volume, price, and calculated MPG / efficiency
Purchase status related to Apple In-App Purchase / StoreKit, managed by Apple

How data is stored

On device: Your fill-up history is stored in a local database on your device. It is not synced to iCloud or sent to any server, and we do not operate a Fuel Log cloud database.
Photos: Odometer and receipt photos are processed on your device only to extract values such as the odometer reading, fuel volume, and price. Only the extracted values are saved; the photos themselves are not stored.
Purchases: Payments are handled by Apple through In-App Purchase / StoreKit. We do not receive your card numbers.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information.
There is no advertising network tracking in the MVP (no ad network SDKs or ad tracking for the App).

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

How to request deletion

Delete the App from your device to remove on-device App data.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the effective date on this page. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
